1. Identify the bearing and housing series
Provide the complete bearing reference and the housing series, such as TK, TK-II or DT-II. A series name by itself is not a complete purchasing specification. For a replacement, send the old drawing or a dimensioned sample reference. Identify the bearing seat and the dimensions that must match the existing assembly.
2. State tube diameter and housing thickness separately
The TK housing reference lists bearings 6203–6312, tube outside diameters 60–219 mm and housing thicknesses 2–5 mm. These are separate reference ranges, not confirmation that every bearing, tube and thickness combination is supplied. Housing thickness and roller tube wall thickness describe different parts: label both explicitly when relevant.
3. Confirm the mounting and seat geometry
Show the housing profile, bearing seat, fitting dimensions and critical tolerances on the approved drawing. Include tube and shaft details where they affect the assembly. Do not select solely from a product photograph. When documents disagree, resolve the difference and identify the controlling drawing revision before placing the order.
4. Agree material and surface requirements
Specify the required steel grade and surface requirements in writing. Do not infer the steel grade from the name of a product series or from its appearance. If an inspection record or material document is required, agree the document, acceptance criteria and scope before ordering. Availability and supply terms must be confirmed for the actual order.
5. Check the seal as a separate assembly
The TK seal reference covers bearings 6204–6310 and five seal components; this differs from the TK housing reference. Check the seal seats, shaft detail and complete arrangement rather than assuming that overlapping bearing ranges prove compatibility. TF is presented on this website as a seal assembly reference. Read why housing and seal compatibility require separate checks before combining references.
6. Define exactly what will be supplied
List whether the order includes bare housings, seal parts or a matched configuration. State quantities by model, drawing revision, packaging, destination and requested delivery date. Mark the dimensions and acceptance checks that matter for your assembly. Obtain confirmation of the agreed configuration and quotation before ordering. The Sunwarm manuals support selection; final compatibility and dimensions require drawing approval.
